This device is a Virtual Reality (VR) simulator for training basic and advanced robotic surgery skills. It may record user performance, evaluate it and provide progress reports. The system hardware provides geometric and spatial conditions similar to robotic surgery conditions. The system software, in conjunction with the hardware, simulates the rpbptic surgery environment. This device is able to react based on the user’s action in interacting with the hardware and handles of surgery at robotic surgery console and electrosurgery pedals, and simulates the behavior of the surgical organ.
